Owners at VanRos Services
In 2006 Jeff Vanderschaaf and Phil Roscher combined their last names to form VanRos Services. Their vision was to use their skills and knowledge in mechanics to service and maintain pump jack engines to the best of their ability. When they started out they had one truck and one client. Working out of home garages and offices, they built their business up by providing consistent and excellent customer service. VanRos celebrated 10 years in business in 2016 with a growing staff, new equipment and the addition of a thriving Pumpjack division.
Jeff VanderschaafJeff was raised on Vancouver Island where his dad owned a mechanics shop. They moved to the Peace Country in 1998 after receiving his Automotive ticket from Malaspina College. He worked at J.I. Services for five years where he met Ian Derrick, owner of J.I. When Ian retired, Jeff and Phil took the opportunity to start their own company. Ian still works with them whenever he visits Grande Prairie.
